PharmacyNow ("the App") respects your privacy and complies with the Korean Personal
Information Protection Act. This Privacy Policy explains what information is
collected, how it is used, and how it is managed.
1. Information We Collect
Location
GPS coordinates of your current location
Used to find nearby pharmacies and calculate distance/ETA
Collected only with your explicit OS-level permission
Stored on-device only; never transmitted to our servers
Data error reports (kind, note, anonymous device ID)
Medication share snapshots — only when you tap "Share with family"; auto-deleted after 30 days
On-device data (never leaves your device)
Favorite pharmacies and drugs
Visit history and frequency scores
Medication reminders and adherence logs
Side effect journal
Prescription or drug photos you attach
2. Third-party Disclosure
We do not sell or share your personal information with any third party.
3. Processors
Supabase — stores pharmacy data, reviews, reports, and share snapshots.
Kakao Map JavaScript SDK — your location is sent to Kakao servers
when the map is displayed. Kakao's own privacy policy applies.
Korea Public Data Portal — used only for server-side batch jobs
to collect pharmacy and drug data; no user data is transmitted.
4. Retention & Deletion
On-device data: deleted when you uninstall the app or tap "Delete all" in settings.
Reviews/reports: individually deletable on request.
Share snapshots: automatically deleted 30 days after creation.
5. Permissions
Location (required): while using the app only.
Camera (optional): attach prescription/drug photos.
Notifications (optional): medication reminders.
Photo library (optional): attach existing photos.
6. Your Rights
You may clear local data anytime from the app settings. You may request deletion of
server-stored reviews, reports, or share snapshots by contacting us below.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.
